Clare Bulb Co comment: There being no such thing as a blue tulip the breeders take liberties with the English language! Nonetheless Blue Diamond, with its white overtones, is a fine double tulip. In the lower picture the flower has just opened up, being in a wall basket.  Taken in late March they were still in flower in early May.
